I’m a Recruitment Business Partner for Nuclear Operations within EDF's Nuclear Family.

My team specialises in recruiting talented people to join our nuclear power stations and office sites, across a multitude of different disciplines ranging from Operations, Engineering, Defueling and Deconstruction, Decommissioning, and Central Support Functions. We recruit for locations across the breadth of the UK, from Glasgow to Dungeness.

I have been with EDF since 2019, working in Nuclear Operations. I'm proud to have supported the business through times of significant change, as some of our stations head to the decommissioning phase of the nuclear life cycle. Prior to EDF, my recruitment experience is from both in-house and agency positions, and I’m also CIPD-qualified.

I joined EDF because I wanted exposure to working in a large-scale business, but EDF is so much more than that. Even though we have thousands of people in the organisation, I’ve never felt like a number. It's wonderful to be surrounded by like-minded individuals, who are passionate about what they do and celebrate each other daily. I love that I learn something new every day and we're recruiting people who are making a difference in how we live our lives. It makes me smile every time I turn on a light switch!

What success means to me: Three words that come to mind when I think of success are reflection, tenacity and team work.
