Let’s do good together
Working at EDF power solutions is to be dedicated to something simple: doing good things. We take pride in tackling the world’s biggest challenge, and we’re leading the fight. Join us, and let’s do good together.
We’ve got your back
We don’t micro-manage, and we give everyone the flexibility, freedom and responsibility to make their own impact, whether that’s in the office or at home. And we want you to trust us, safe in the knowledge that being your whole self is encouraged.
Blue-sky
doing
We’re self-starters and we want you to be too. Our organisational hierarchy gives you the chance to speak up, so let’s hear it.
Creating positive energy
Creating positive energy isn’t only about powering our world, it’s a guiding light for our people too. We listen to the voices of our people with open minds and honest opinions.
Zero-ing in on net zero
For us, the opportunity to take on the world’s biggest challenge is a massive privilege, and a big responsibility. No matter what your role is at EDF power solutions, you’re making a direct contribution to improving our planet’s future.
Our purpose
Our purpose, An Electric UK and Ireland, reflects our belief that this ambition offers the strongest path to a secure, affordable, low‑carbon future for everyone.
Electrification is fundamental to fighting climate change by reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and power our homes and businesses with clean energy. It is also a recognition that our business provides positive impacts beyond this, with domestic renewable energy also bolstering our energy security and giving us the best chance of reducing energy costs for people and businesses.
Working in partnership with colleagues, suppliers, policymakers, and communities, we're making this electric future a reality.
PhD Opportunity
Solve real-world challenges in renewable energy.
Explore how advanced modelling and control can tackle harmonic challenges in renewable energy, helping create more stable, efficient and reliable low carbon power networks for the future.
This 4-year studentship is based at Imperial College London and is funded by an EPSRC Industrial Doctoral Landscape Award (IDLA) alongside industrial partners EDF power solutions UK&I and EDF R&D UK.
