I'm a Recruiter for the Nuclear Operations side of the business.
I specialise in recruiting talented people to all our teams central to the safe, effective and efficient running of three of our power stations, Hinkley Point B in Bridgwater, Somerset, Hartlepool in County Durham and Torness in Dunbar, Scotland. These range from specialist technician and engineering roles, through to finance, procurement and human resources, right up to senior leadership positions.
With over 20 years’ experience, I have previously recruited to the industry for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and its subsidiaries, Radioactive Waste Management Ltd (now Nuclear Waste Solutions), Direct Rail Services and International Nuclear Services (now merged into Nuclear Transport Solutions) at specialist, management and senior executive level. I now use that experience to recruit the best talent to our stations.
I joined EDF as it has a successful brand and reputation, with values and a culture that meets with my own. The company has a friendly and extremely supportive network.
What success means to me: Success to me is ensuring all involved, both internally and externally, with the recruiter and wider experience at EDF is nothing less than an interesting, enjoyable and positive journey of discovery and learning. In terms of my own personal success, I want to achieve great things within the business by applying my determination, passion and proactivity in everything that I do.
Everyone's welcome
