I’m a Recruiter for the Nuclear Operations side of the business.
I specialise in recruiting talented people to join our Nuclear Decommissioning, Sizewell B power station, Thermal, Research & Development teams, based in locations all over the UK.
I have worked in recruitment since 2017, starting my career in an external agency, where I gained my REC Level 3 recruitment qualification. I made the move to internal recruitment in 2020, when a client asked me to come on board as part of a transformation project to redesign and streamline their recruitment process. I then joined Dalkia UK (who are owned by EDF) in 2022 as their sole recruiter and was offered the opportunity to move to EDF after a secondment in 2023. I have worked across a vast number of sectors as a generalist recruiter, meaning I have learnt to adapt very quickly when faced with new departments and learn new roles.
I joined EDF after completing a secondment from Dalkia. Only a few weeks into my 6-month secondment I knew I wanted to stay permanently; I felt really welcomed, comfortable and could see there was loads of future opportunities for development and growth.
What success means to me: To me, success means happiness, reward and teamwork.
Everyone's welcome
