Ready to lead technical delivery that powers secure and predictable outcomes? Want to shape engineering solutions that help Britain achieve net zero? At EDF, Success is Personal – and with us, your career journey is yours to shape.
The Opportunity
As Technical Delivery Manager, you’ll coordinate delivery across Security Engineering product verticals including network security, email security and exposure management. Your work will safeguard enterprise technology and support An Electric Britain. This is a home-working role with occasional travel to our #Gloucester or #London office and a negotiable salary depending on experience.
You’ll govern intake, plan roadmaps, coach agile ways of working and manage delivery risks. You’ll align initiatives to architectural guardrails and service models, ensuring outcomes are secure, sustainable and ready for service transition.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Technical Delivery Manager who brings clarity in fast-paced environments and thrives on human, positive collaboration. To be shortlisted, you’ll need:
- Proven delivery leadership across federated teams and complex environments
- Strong agile coaching skills and experience embedding pragmatic SAFe practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Familiarity with security engineering practices across firewalls, CI/CD, testing and change
- Expertise in Jira and Confluence for workload management and reporting
- Ability to transition solutions seamlessly into service and platform teams
Desirable experience includes working within a security team, reviewing network security designs for assurance and coordinating vendors or third parties.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Governing inbound work and prioritisation against service principles for each product vertical
- Maintaining transparent delivery roadmaps and leading quarterly and semi-annual planning
- Driving end-to-end delivery across Security Engineering verticals:
- Network security – firewalls, segmentation and policy changes
- Email security – secure email gateways and threat protection
- Exposure management – vulnerability visibility and remediation flow
- Applying pragmatic project management for larger initiatives including RAID and vendor coordination
- Facilitating agile ceremonies and coaching teams on agile principles and PI Planning
- Leading capacity planning, contractor onboarding, allocation and performance management
- Owning delivery metrics such as cycle time, throughput, planned versus actual and quality KPIs
- Managing Jira and Confluence dashboards with concise, decision-ready updates
- Championing secure-by-design and ensuring readiness for testing, change and deployment
- Embedding service design thinking so new capabilities meet operational standards and support models
Pay, Benefits and Culture
Alongside a negotiable salary depending on experience, potential for an annual bonus and a market-leading pension scheme, your package includes customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days and more.
