Ready to lead a brand-new squad and help shape how we deliver complex change across EDF Retail? If you’re driven by impact, collaboration and meaningful leadership, this role gives you the opportunity to develop and make a difference. At EDF, Success is Personal – your journey matters as much as the change you help deliver.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Delivery Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in building our change delivery capability. You’ll lead major initiatives, guide Project Delivery Managers and set the tone for collaboration and excellence across Retail. This is a role where you’ll influence strategy and make a tangible impact.
You’ll join us on competitive salary ranging from £70,320 depending on experience, with a flexible working setup that lets you work from home and travel to the EDF offices occasionally. This gives you freedom to balance life and work in a way that suits you, while staying connected with colleagues across our UK locations.
From regulatory change to technology integration, you’ll oversee complex programmes, coordinate cross-functional teams, and champion agile ways of working. EDF will support your growth with leadership development and opportunities to shape delivery practices.
Who You Are
You will thrive on leadership, adaptability and working in fast‑moving environments. We’re looking for:
- Experience developing others and building high‑performing teams
- Ability to lead people, navigate complex change, and apply industry knowledge
- Strong track record of delivering complex change
- Deep understanding of the UK energy or utilities market
- Ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and keeping delivery on track
- Commitment to continuous learning across delivery and agile practices
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a team of Delivery Owners, creating a collaborative and supportive culture
- Driving complex, high‑profile change initiatives from planning to adoption
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, regulators and external partners
- Overseeing programmes and projects, managing risks, dependencies and resources
- Championing continuous improvement and embedding best practice across the squad
Pay, Benefits and Culture
Alongside a competitive salary ranging from £70,320 (DOE), the potential for an annual bonus and a market‑leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.
