The Opportunity
As an Operations Manager, you’ll help power the teams delivering our onboarding, billing and industry data operations across a fast‑moving portfolio. You’ll be part of the group supporting the transition towards An Electric Britain, contributing to a service that supports businesses nationwide and drives trusted customer outcomes.
You’ll join us on a salary starting of circa £57,500 per annum, depending on your experience. This role can be flexible on location and offers flexible working. With most of the team based in Exeter there will be periodic travel to this EDF site as well as other sites only when business needs require.
You'll play a key role in creating a consistent, compliant and performance‑driven operation. From improving processes to empowering teams, you’ll be central to shaping how we work. With the support of our leaders and your peers, you’ll have space to innovate, influence and grow.
Who You Are
We’re looking for an Operations Manager who can lead with clarity, build strong relationships, and drive commercial and operational results. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

- Excels at planning and organisation
- Project management – identify challenges and design and deliver effective solutions
- Ability to engage and present at senior/exec levels – internal and external
- Cross working across the large sector with colleagues to ensure that processes are aligned and efficient
- Constantly monitor processes and procedures against performance to adapt and improve
- Expertise in the energy industry
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and developing high‑performing operational teams
- Driving performance across onboarding, billing and industry data operations
- Using data and reporting to deliver operational and regulatory outcomes
- Identifying and delivering improvements to processes and controls
- Managing high‑priority customer or system incidents and response teams
Pay, Benefits and Culture
