At EDF, Success is Personal, and this role puts you at the heart of progress that matters to customers and colleagues alike.
The Opportunity
As Metering Services Manager, you’ll have a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality metering outcomes for our Business and Wholesale customers across all meter types. You’ll join us on a starting salary of £45,760 per annum. This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work from home alongside occasional travel to our #Exeter – Gadeon House office to connect, collaborate and support key operational activity.

- Proven operational leadership with accountability for right‑first‑time performance and service quality
- Experience leading and developing teams while driving automation and simplification
- Strong analytical capability, using data to prioritise improvements and optimise performance
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and industry partners
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading end‑to‑end delivery of metering services, ensuring high‑quality, right‑first‑time outcomes across ADS and SDS
- Owning and optimising operational processes including onboarding, novations, triage, fault resolution and job closure
- Driving automation, standardisation and continuous improvement with Technology, Data, Commercial and Product teams
- Providing day‑to‑day people leadership, setting clear expectations and coaching teams to deliver strong performance
- Representing EDF with industry bodies, suppliers and operational forums
- Identifying operational risks, data quality issues and performance gaps, and delivering sustainable solutions
