The Opportunity


As our Learning Designer Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering learning programmes that strengthen organisational capability and drive behavioural change. You’ll help us support the transition towards An Electric Britain by creating engaging, evidence-based learning experiences that make a real difference.

Alongside a negotiable salary depending on experience and potential for an annual bonus, this is a hybrid role. You’ll work from home and visit one of our core offices when needed, ensuring flexibility while staying connected with the team.

We’ll support your growth with access to the latest learning technologies, protected time for CPD, and opportunities to collaborate across all EDF UK businesses. You’ll influence strategy, lead innovative projects, and become a trusted expert in learning design.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Learning Designer Lead who thrives on collaboration and innovation. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering learning interventions across technical, behavioural and leadership programmes
  • Expertise in digital learning solutions and evidence-based approaches to behaviour change
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders
  • Experience in project management methodologies, including agile and waterfall
  • A recognised L&D qualification such as CIPD Level 5 Diploma or equivalent

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering innovative learning programmes that meet organisational needs
  • Creating digital learning experiences that provide flexible, user-centred journeys
  • Translating business priorities into practical, scalable solutions
  • Driving engagement and adoption of learning initiatives across EDF UK
  • Monitoring and evaluating learning impact to continuously improve outcomes
