Do you enjoy solving technical problems that help others do their best work? Looking for a role where you can use your engineering tool expertise to keep complex design environments running smoothly? At EDF, Success is Personal, and in this role you’ll shape your impact, your development, and your future.

The Opportunity

As an IMS Support Engineer, you’ll help keep the engineering tools behind some of the UK’s most important nuclear projects running effectively. Your work will help maintain the digital systems that support EPR‑E’s designers and engineers, playing a key role in our journey towards An Electric Britain. You’ll make sure our CAD and engineering platforms stay reliable, resilient and ready for the teams who depend on them every day.

Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role is based in #Bristol, with three days each week spent in our office. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, supporting users, problem-solving together, and being a trusted expert when challenges arise.

You’ll continue growing your skills through hands-on work with advanced CAD platforms, AVEVA tools, and engineering systems. You’ll support upgrades and migrations, help improve our infrastructure, and play your part in shaping how we evolve our tools and processes for the future. As we move towards An Electric Britain, your expertise will help keep our engineering teams working confidently and efficiently.

  • Troubleshooting in CAD and engineering environments
  • Administering AVEVA tools such as E3D and Engineering
  • Database management and IMS project delivery
  • Working with IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and storage

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Being the first point of contact for CAD issues raised by EPR‑E users
  • Carrying out advanced troubleshooting on AVEVA tools
  • Supporting maintenance, upgrades and day‑to‑day running of engineering tools
  • Working with teams across the business to understand needs and develop solutions
  • Contributing to IMS projects, including migrations, upgrades and new tool development

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a competitive salary, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.
