Hybrid | Permanent | Starting from £63,000
Ready to build modern web experiences that genuinely make a difference for small businesses? Keen to work with React, cloud technologies and AI tools while shaping how they’re used in real-world delivery? At EDF, you’ll join a team where your ideas matter, your skills grow, and your impact is visible. Because here, Success is Personal.
The Opportunity
As a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on React, you’ll play a key role in shaping the digital platforms that help small businesses grow, connect with customers, and operate more efficiently. You’ll build scalable, user-friendly web applications while contributing to our wider mission of supporting the journey towards An Electric Britain.
You’ll join us on a salary starting of £63,000 per annum, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model across #London #Hove #Exeter, alongside home working and monthly (or more frequent) office collaboration.
Day-to-day, you’ll spend most of your time creating robust front-end experiences using React and TypeScript, while also contributing across the full stack — from backend services to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll also be part of a forward-thinking engineering culture using AI tools to improve how we design, build and deliver software.

- Developing and integrating full-stack solutions, including backend services and cloud infrastructure
- Delivering reliable releases through CI/CD pipelines, testing, and feature flagging
- Using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to improve development, testing and delivery
- Collaborating with designers, product managers and engineers in an Agile environment
