The Opportunity
As a Business Analyst, you’ll shape solutions that help our teams work smarter and deliver better experiences for customers. You’ll support our transition towards An Electric Britain by turning insight into clear actions that improve how we work.
You’ll join us on a salary of circa £44,800 (DOE) per annum, depending on experience. With teams near our #Exeter, #Hove, #London or #Sunderland offices, you’ll enjoy flexibility to work from home and the office.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, using analysis, modelling and collaborative tools to shape meaningful improvements. You’ll grow your skills through varied, hands‑on experience while supporting digital improvements and business process changes across different teams on our journey towards An Electric Britain.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Business Analyst who brings clarity, curiosity and a practical approach to problem solving. To be shortlisted, you need to offer…
- Solid business analyst experience with an understanding of standard BA methods and techniques (ISEB) and the judgement to choose the most effective approach for each piece of work
- Understanding of design and modelling techniques, with hands‑on experience using tools such as Miro, Confluence and Jira
- Knowledge of delivering online, web and digital projects within an Agile environment
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organisational, multitasking and time management skills
- Good workshop facilitation and interview skills, with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience of working with senior business managers, showing credibility in advocating change and commercial awareness
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience, with the confidence to influence, communicate and collaborate effectively
What You’ll Be Doing
- Gathering and analysing information and data to understand business challenges and support business process improvements and system change
- Presenting findings to project teams and senior stakeholders
- Supporting workshops and interviews to capture requirements and ideas
- Reviewing solution designs, test strategies and business procedures for alignment
- Working with subject matter experts, managers and technical teams to shape solution options and delivery structures
