Are you ready to lead complex engineering design in one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects? Do you enjoy shaping high-value outcomes, influencing stakeholders, and driving delivery on site? At EDF, “Success is Personal” – and this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
The Opportunity
As a Building Coordinator at Hinkley Point C, you’ll play a key role in coordinating multi-disciplined design and construction activities across major buildings. You’ll bring a consulting mindset to lead design delivery, manage stakeholders, and ensure quality outcomes on a complex, high-profile project supporting the journey towards An Electric Britain.
You’ll join us on a salary starting of £54,280 per annum, working in a hybrid arrangement with three days per week on site at #HinkleyPointC. The remaining time can be spent working from home or other office or location.
Working closely with designers, contractors, and delivery teams, you’ll drive progress across design packages and construction changes. This role offers the chance to lead design coordination, influence key decisions, and grow your capability within a nationally significant programme.

We’re looking for a Building Coordinator with a strong consulting and design background, confident leading teams and managing stakeholders across complex programmes. Are you experienced in…
- Delivering design coordination across civil or mechanical engineering projects within large-scale infrastructure environments
- Leading multi-disciplinary design teams and managing stakeholders across design, construction, and client organisations
- Operating in a consulting environment with hands-on design or engineering experience
- Working on site-based projects and engaging directly with contractors and delivery teams
- Managing competing priorities to meet defined project timelines and deliverables
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating design activities across multi-disciplinary engineering teams to support construction delivery
- Monitoring performance against key milestones and driving progress across assigned buildings
- Managing stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure alignment across teams
- Supporting readiness reviews of design packages before construction
- Identifying and implementing improvements to processes and ways of working

Alongside a starting salary of £54,280 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.
