The Opportunity
As a Settlements Process Owner, you’ll be the expert on UK electricity and gas settlement processes. You’ll lead improvements, resolve complex issues, and collaborate with industry partners to ensure accurate financial reconciliation and compliance – supporting our journey towards An Electric Britain.
You’ll join us on a salary starting of at least £44,800 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus. This is a hybrid role, giving you flexibility to balance remote working alongside travel to our #Exeter, #London, #Sunderland or #Hove offices when needed.
This 18-month fixed-term contract offers the chance to work on high-impact projects, including Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlements. You’ll influence structural changes, mentor team members, and develop innovative solutions that shape the future of energy settlements.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Settlements Process Owner who thrives on collaboration and problem-solving. To be shortlisted, you need to offer…
- In-depth knowledge of UK electricity and/or gas settlement processes and industry data flows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar)
- Strong leadership experience with a successful record of delivering initiatives and small projects
- A great communicator who collaborates effectively at all levels, with a wide range of audiences
- Passionate and vibrant, excited to help customers and solve complex problems
- Comfortable making decisions and creating a culture of empowerment

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead analysis and documentation of settlement processes, ensuring compliance with market codes
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements with onshore and offshore partners
- Ensure settlement data accuracy and integrity across systems
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on processes
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on key projects and support team development
