Senior Facilities Management Lead
Full-Time, Permanent. Contractual Location: Hinkley Point C, 5 days a week on site.

The Opportunity
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
As a Senior Facilities Management Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational delivery of essential site services. Reporting to the Facilities Service & Area Manager, you’ll lead a team of Delivery Leads and act as a subject matter expert for your area. You’ll ensure that services are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards—keeping the HPC construction programme running smoothly and without interruption.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll lead the delivery of critical facilities services across a vast and dynamic construction site, ensuring that everything from site infrastructure to welfare facilities supports the needs of thousands of workers. Your leadership will be key in managing complex contracts, maintaining compliance, and driving performance across safety, quality, and cost.
Acting as deputy to the Facilities Service & Area Manager, you’ll oversee budgets, mentor your team, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to resolve challenges and keep operations on track. You’ll also play a central role in developing and executing tactical plans, ensuring that services are delivered with precision and foresight.
From managing temporary works and property assets to ensuring environmental and safety standards are met, your work will directly support the success of one of the UK’s most important energy projects.
Who You Are
You bring a degree-level education or equivalent senior management experience in a related industrial setting, along with a strong technical background and a solid understanding of British standards, CDM regulations, and facilities management. You’ve successfully delivered within large-scale projects and are confident managing significant budgets and complex service packages.
You’re a natural communicator who builds strong relationships across all levels, both internally and externally. You’re solutions-focused, with the ability to navigate complexity and drive continuous improvement. Ideally, you’ll also bring experience in high-security environments, behavioural safety programmes, and hold qualifications such as IOSH, NEC3, or PRINCE2/APM.
Additionally, you must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
