What you’ll be doing

You’ll take the lead on managing major engineering contracts within a vast and multidisciplinary programme. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of key project milestones.

Working with a matrix team of engineers, designers, commercial experts, and project controls professionals, you’ll coordinate efforts across the Joint Design Office and on-site construction teams.

From overseeing international procurement and design to managing construction activities and stakeholder relationships, you’ll be at the centre of a high-impact, high-visibility project.

 

Who you are

You’re a seasoned project professional with a strong background in engineering or construction. You’re ready to step into a role that demands leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking.

With extensive experience managing complex projects in regulated sectors like nuclear, energy, or infrastructure, you bring a deep understanding of engineering design, procurement, and construction. You’re confident working with NEC or FIDIC contracts and have a degree in a relevant field—chartered status is a bonus.

You’re familiar with CDM Regulations and project control tools such as Earned Value, CEMAR, and Teamcenter. An APM PMQ or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Additionally, you must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which generally requires you to have been a UK resident for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
