About the Role

Aztec West, Bristol (hybrid working)

A career that will deliver change. Together, we’ll help Britain achieve Net Zero.

The Opportunity

Edvance is a joint venture between EDF and Framatome, an EPCC established in 2018 in charge of the design (basic design) and the realization (studies, procurement, erection, testing and commissioning) of nuclear islands for new projects in France and worldwide.

As a Piping Manager within the Integrated Team Bristol (ITBB), you’ll lead the coordination of piping activities across key nuclear buildings at Hinkley Point C. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and timely engineering solutions, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Examples include: a market-leading company pension scheme, a bonus plan, health cover, electric vehicle leasing, mental health support and employee discounts.

We’re talking about everything from enhanced parental leave to electric vehicle leasing, health insurance to product discounts, critical illness insurance to technology vouchers, gym membership to season ticket loans.

At EDF UK, we embrace flexibility while recognising that everyone's working needs are different. Whether you're in our office spaces, on site, or working remotely, we promote an environment that supports collaboration, connection, and comfort. No matter where you are, our priority is to make sure you feel safe, valued, and celebrated.

Here, we do right by each other and everyone’s welcome. We’re on an action-oriented journey, championing equity, diversity, and inclusion. We’d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.

We’re a disability confident employer and we’ll do all we can to help with your application. Please let us know if you need to request reasonable adjustments.

We take pride in fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment, where the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our employees drive fresh thinking and innovation. We understand that success means different things to different people. We believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we support you to pursue a career that’s unique to you. Because success is personal.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Piping Manager, you’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the design and integration of piping systems across several nuclear buildings. You’ll ensure that all activities are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance, while maintaining alignment with project timelines and budgets.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners, including suppliers and client organisations, to manage interfaces, resolve challenges, and drive progress. Your leadership will be key in promoting a strong nuclear safety culture and a collaborative, inclusive working environment.

This role also involves reporting on progress, managing resources, and supporting strategic planning activities such as workforce planning and task order development. You’ll be a visible leader, setting the tone for professionalism and technical excellence across the team.

Who You Are

You’re a technically credible professional with a strong background in engineering or project management, ideally within the nuclear or energy sectors. You bring excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and you’re confident leading diverse teams in complex, high-stakes environments.

You understand the importance of safety, quality, and collaboration, and you’re committed to delivering results. Experience with EPR engineering processes and a working knowledge of French would be advantageous, but not essential. You’re fluent in English and comfortable using tools like Microsoft Office to support your work.

If you’re ready to lead with purpose and make a lasting impact on the UK’s energy future, we’d love to hear from you.

Closing date for applications is Friday 4th July, interviews will follow shortly after.
