Aztec West, Bristol (hybrid working)
A career that will deliver change. Together, we’ll help Britain achieve Net Zero
Are you ready to help shape the future of low-carbon energy in the UK? Join us at EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E), where we’re delivering cutting-edge nuclear projects that will power millions of homes. As we expand our team, we’re looking for a dynamic Performance and Transformation Project Manager to drive innovation, performance, and transformation across our engineering operations.
The Opportunity
EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is tasked with delivering the design for several nuclear island (NI) buildings, systems, and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project. This involves working through an integrated team, supporting HPC construction and commissioning efforts, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project. As a result, a Technical Directorate is being established to oversee the engineering disciplines and technical expertise needed to successfully deliver these projects through EPR-E’s integrated teams.
As our Performance and Transformation Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our transformation journey—leading performance monitoring, supporting digital tool implementation, and enhancing PMO governance. You’ll work across teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement, helping us deliver on our mission to build a cleaner energy future.
Pay, Benefits & Culture
The salary associated with this role is £54,000 (grade B). We offer a competitive benefits package, including a company pension scheme, and a wide range of flexible benefits to suit your lifestyle. We’re talking about everything from enhanced parental leave to electric vehicle leasing, health insurance to product discounts, critical illness insurance to technology vouchers, gym membership to season ticket loans.
At EDF UK, we embrace flexibility while recognising that everyone's working needs are different. Whether you're in our office spaces, on site, or working remotely, we promote an environment that supports collaboration, connection, and comfort. No matter where you are, our priority is to make sure you feel safe, valued, and celebrated.
Here, we do right by each other and everyone’s welcome. We’re on an action-oriented journey, championing equity, diversity, and inclusion. We’d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.
We’re a disability confident employer and we’ll do all we can to help with your application. Please let us know if you need to request reasonable adjustments.
We take pride in fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment, where the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our employees drive fresh thinking and innovation. We understand that success means different things to different people. We believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we support you to pursue a career that’s unique to you. Because success is personal.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll lead the coordination of performance reporting, including weekly and monthly KPI reviews, ensuring data accuracy and insightful commentary. You’ll facilitate key meetings and reviews, engaging stakeholders and driving performance conversations across the organisation.
You’ll also play a central role in deploying new digital tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, and iObeya—supporting user onboarding, workshops, and change management. Working closely with the Digital Implementation Project Manager, you’ll ensure tools are aligned with project goals and user needs.
Beyond performance and tools, you’ll support PMO governance and process improvement, helping refine planning, scheduling, and risk management practices. You’ll also lead engagement initiatives like the PMO Discipline Day, fostering collaboration and recognition across teams.
Who You Are
You’re a confident project manager with a knack for coordination and stakeholder engagement. You bring experience in performance reporting, transformation projects, or PMO environments, and you’re comfortable working in complex, matrixed organisations—ideally within energy or infrastructure sectors.
You’re digitally savvy, with proficiency in collaboration tools like Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and iObeya. You have an analytical mindset, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
You hold a degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field, and a project management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP is a bonus. Fluency in English is essential, and French language skills are a plus.
Applications close for this role on Tuesday 23rd September, with interviews following shortly after.
