“During my time on the Science and Engineering graduate scheme, I’ve experienced all sides of the nuclear business: from Nuclear Services, Hinkley Point C to working at an operational power station. This has given me an ideal overview of the nuclear industry as I start my career and increased my excitement to contribute to EDF’s goals of reaching net zero.” – Ross, Graduate
The Opportunity
Alongside earning a salary of £37,500 per annum, you’ll work towards professional accreditation with institutions such as the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and others – fully supported by us.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, develop technical and professional skills, and contribute to real-world projects – from modelling reactor core behaviour to supporting the development of Hinkley Point C.
You’ll help shape the future of clean energy in the UK, working on projects that matter and building a career with real impact.
