Ready to lead engineering excellence at one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects? Want to shape the future of nuclear energy and help Britain achieve net zero? At EDF, Success is Personal – and with us, your career journey is yours to shape.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Lifting and Handling Engineer to lead technical aspects of the design, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and safety case development of cranes and lifting equipment, together with fuelling equipment, within a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for providing expert engineering support, leading safety case development, and ensuring compliance with national and international standards. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including safety engineers, project managers, and regulatory bodies. The role will include technical management of key issues, supervising a team of lifting and handling engineers.
