As an Integration Engineer at EDF, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring that our construction plans are not only visionary but also achievable, bringing together people, materials, and timelines to make it all happen.
The Opportunity
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
As an Integration Engineer, you’ll support the Area Integration Senior Engineer in shaping the construction journey, from manufacturing through to commissioning. You’ll help ensure that every step of the schedule is realistic, coordinated, and aligned with key project milestones. This means reviewing construction sequences, checking material and equipment readiness, and helping to resolve any scheduling conflicts that could impact delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be instrumental in planning and coordinating construction activities across your designated area, ensuring that every task is safe, efficient, and aligned with our “Right First Time” mission. Your work will directly support the health and safety of our workforce, the public, and the environment.
Working closely with the Area Integration Lead, you’ll help shape construction sequences, assess readiness, and ensure compliance with safety rules and industry standards. You’ll also draw on lessons learned from similar projects to improve outcomes and avoid pitfalls.
As your experience grows, you’ll take on more complex challenges, supporting cross-functional issues and following systems across multiple buildings and programmes. Your insight will help keep the project on track and moving forward.
Who You Are
You bring a solid understanding of how engineering, procurement, and construction activities come together on complex projects. You’re confident navigating project planning processes and have a knack for identifying and resolving tricky issues and interfaces.
You’re a natural collaborator, able to work with a wide range of stakeholders using your analytical thinking, communication, and influencing skills to drive progress. You’re also comfortable using tools like Primavera P6, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office to support your work.
Ideally, you hold a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience in construction management.
