The Quality and Enterprise Risk Manager is at the heart of driving excellence and safeguarding our business as we grow. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to design and create impactful quality frameworks and processes that identify and tackle the most critical challenges we face. By partnering across all levels of the organisation, you'll ensure gaps are closed effectively, enabling us to achieve success with confidence.

 

You’ll play a crucial role in shaping our business process architecture by engaging and facilitating business stakeholders. By working collaboratively, you’ll empower teams to take ownership of their processes, ensuring they are aligned, streamlined, and support seamless business operations. With a focus on delivering accurate insights and pinpointing priority improvements, you’ll be a key player in fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

 

In this vital role, you’ll own and develop the tools that power our Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, including designing and developing an industry-leading Quality Management System and robust Enterprise Risk Management processes. Your work will reduce compliance and performance risks, enabling us to meet our ambitious growth targets efficiently and sustainably.

What you’ll be doing

 

You’ll track Compliance and Performance: Implement an assurance programme to measure, monitor, and improve compliance and performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

 

  1. Enhance Reporting: Use visual tools for clear performance tracking, enabling swift action on deviations at the right level.
  2. Quality Management System: Provide an ISO 9001-aligned system to standardise and improve business processes.
  3. Optimise Processes: Oversee the design and deployment of efficient business architecture and processes.
  4. Encourage Organisational Learning: Build a culture that investigates and addresses deviations to prevent recurrence, learning from internal and external experiences.
  5. Manage Risks: Lead the Enterprise Risk Management framework to identify and mitigate critical risks.

 

What do you need to be great at this role?

 

     You’ll have experience of leading the implementation of a management system, including gaining the buy-in from across the business to value it, such that business performance could be improved.

 

  • Strong knowledge of how a business operates and a demonstrable ability to connect “the dots” across an organisation, in order to pinpoint where action is required, and which stakeholder need to be engaged.
  • Evidence of being comfortable presenting findings and insights, even when the message may not be easy for the audience to hear, then getting their commitment to take action.
  • Proven record of building trusting and credible relationships at all working levels of an organisation, including driving a behavioural and culture change agenda.
  • Credible leader who has demonstrated an ability to provide inspirational direction and leadership, motivating large matrix teams to take action to address performance gaps.
  • Leadership style that builds a sense of trust, empowerment and support within a team, whilst maintaining their personal accountability for benefit delivery.

 

An education to degree level or a demonstration of ability to the same level delivered in a working environment.

 

  • Desirable to hold Lead Auditor qualification (ISO9001 CQI | IRCA)
  • Advantageous to be trained in continuous improvement (e.g. lean practitioner) and/or root cause analysis.
