Step into the dynamic role of Process and Systems Procurement Lead and become the driving force behind cutting-edge procurement systems at EDF-R (UK&I). Be the trusted source of timely, insightful, and actionable data that fuels smarter decisions, drives value, and strengthens stakeholder relationships. Your ability to deliver transparent compliance reporting will shine a spotlight on the effectiveness and impact of procurement activities.

 

Take ownership of the Risk Management Framework, actively managing and mitigating risks while serving as the go-to expert for the team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the function operates with resilience and agility.

What you’ll be doing

 

You’ll manage and maintain procurement systems and policy for their use, ensuring appropriate consultation and communication with wider team and customers to ensure these are well maintained, managed and communicated.

 

  • Identified as key SME for procurement systems and accountable for collection and provision of excellent data quality.
  • Lead and explore and identify new technologies, systems, processes and governance that will allow for more effective, cross-functional collaboration and a reduction of siloed business operations.
  • Lead and implement change programmes within the remit of the role, such as Purchase to Pay (P2P), Source to Contract (S2C), eTender systems and other tools.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to procurement teams through clear communication and presentation of transformation activities and goals ensuring changes are embedded in BAU ways of working.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Leadership team to drive change by bringing effective solutions that support the team objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, train and develop staff under own leadership and across the team to develop a highly capable team that consistently performs to a high level.
  • Ensure we meet our Sustainable Procurement ambitions.
