As an IT Business Analyst, you will support a growing IT function within EDF Renewables responsible for IT services across the business. This role will provide a crucial interface between the business and the IT Team ensuring projects are delivered that meet our customers’ needs and continually improve the IT experience.

What you'll be doing...

You will be responsible for providing IT services and support to our growing, diverse teams with bespoke needs and operating methods. 

It is critical that you understand the various needs of the business and find solutions to support the requirements.
•    Gather data and analyse business and user needs by facilitating and leading activities including workshops, storyboards and site visits
•    Gather, document and prioritise business requirements (functional and non-functional) aligned with the key drivers for change and ensure they are understood by both the business and technical teams
•    Produce high quality project artefacts to support project definition and delivery such as business case, process mapping, requirements catalogue, user stories, success criteria, gap analysis and documentation
•    Understand, evaluate and document ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ business processes and systems including cross functional and complex processes
•    Present outputs in sophisticated but understandable ways suitable for a variety of stakeholders

Who you are...

The successful candidate will be an experienced IT Business Analyst or similar within an IT function, with excellent stakeholder management skills. 

It is imperative that you have experience of end to end project lifecyle.

Experience of working with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies would be advantageous. 

The ideal candidate would also hold a commercial Business or IT qualification.
