What does this Quality opportunity offer you?

We’re recruiting for students to join us in the Quality Management Group at both our HPC & Satellite Delivery Centre. In this group you would have the opportunity to get involved in industrial and fire safety as well as understand and support our emergency arrangements.   

This fantastic opportunity can help provide you to build experience within nuclear operations whilst making a tangible contribution to the productivity and performance of nuclear within the UK.

Training, development, and support for you 

Over the course of this 12-month programme, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in hands-on learning, working on real-world challenges that directly impact the energy industry. Most of your learning will be on the job, supported by your mentor and the teams around you. You’ll have a chance to apply your academic training to genuine industry problems while completing modules that contribute towards your degree.

Your work location 

You will be based at our offices in either:

• Hinkley Point C (Bridgwater) 
• Satellite Delivery Centre (Bridgwater) 

You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with other departments, allowing you to get a comprehensive picture of how a nuclear power station is run.  

Who you are

We are looking for candidates who are on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Science or Emergency Management. You should possess strong technical and analytical skills, along with a genuine desire to learn and develop new capabilities. A questioning attitude, good teamwork, and effective communication skills are also essential qualities we seek.
