We are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer who will be supporting the field design activities for both Civil and Mechanical disciplines. 

Your main responsibility will be to support all modifications, requests for information, open points, and non-conformance from the constructor on metal structures, more particularly containment liner, pool, sumps and tanks liner with the designer and the contracting authority. All initial studies have been carried out in France.

What you’ll be doing….


•    Making clarifications of the deliverables necessary for the construction with the help of the Back Office who carried out the studies (Bristol and Paris – Malakoff),
•    Closing of open points and comments
•    Assessing and answering technical issues arising during manufacturing, construction works, erection
•    Assessing and integrating modification coming from the stakeholders after packages handed-over to JDO
•    Doing some hand calculations and running anchorages macros to assess the feasibility of modification
•    Checking calculation notes and guide drawings subcontracted to external companies
•    Proposing improvements for the studies not finalized
•    Maintaining Edvance’s QA procedures in delivering the design
•    Working with CAD designers/detailers in the preparation of the design drawings
•    Leading technical meetings with suppliers or any other necessary support entities
•    Interfacing with several stakeholder


Who you are…


•    Science, mechanical engineering degree
•    Strong experience in Civil Work and Steel structures design and constructions activities (5 to 10 years)
•    Knowledge of EUROCODE, RCC-M code (if possible)
•    Experience working in a multicultural environment
•    Knowledge of the HPC project or previous EPR and associated studies/doctrine is a real asset
•    Experience in the management of transverse technical topics
•    Speaking French would be advantageous
