The Opportunity
EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is tasked with delivering the design for several nuclear island (NI) buildings, systems, and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project. This involves working through an integrated team, supporting HPC construction and commissioning efforts, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project. As a result, a Technical Directorate is being established to oversee the engineering disciplines and technical expertise needed to successfully deliver these projects through EPR-E’s integrated teams.
As a Document Controller, you’ll provide expertise and support to the construction team, acting as the key link to the Engineering back-office. The JDO-DT team is comprised of designers, engineers, and professionals with diverse technical and cultural backgrounds, fostering an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and supported.

What you’ll be doing
Ensure that all project documentation adheres to company and project standards through effective quality assurance practices. Oversee the accurate distribution of deliverables and project documents, resolving any issues that arise in the documentation process. Tracking design change information within client systems is a key responsibility, requiring collaboration with review teams to ensure changes are properly implemented and accepted.
Manage the List of Deliverables to ensure timely delivery of all design documentation needed for construction activities. Utilise specialised bulk tools for uploading and importing documentation, with comprehensive training offered to support proficiency. Capture and log daily closed records from the Change Information System to maintain accurate project records and compliance.
Who you are
We are looking for candidates with an A Level qualification or higher, who possess solid knowledge of electronic document management systems and other relevant electronic tools and platforms. Strong communication skills, are essential for this role.
You’ll effectively manage high workloads under pressure and excels in a team environment. You will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the performance of the JDO-DT Document Control team while collaborating effectively with various project stakeholders.
