The Opportunity

As our next Construction Delivery Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating activities within the Construction White Space Area (CWSA), collaborating closely with the Senior Construction Delivery Manager to ensure seamless on-site facilitation. This role will be based on site working at Hinkley Point C full time.

We will value the difference you bring and give you opportunities to thrive and succeed.

What you will be doing…

In this role, you’ll offer vital support to Construction Delivery Managers by recommending solutions to address safety and quality issues. Take proactive steps to ensure continuous workflow, whether it's issuing communications or organising meetings. Your role involves thorough document reviews, conducting assurance audits, and implementing effective strategies to maintain project momentum and uphold standards as well as:

  • Proactively liaise with various site functions such as health and safety, quality, surveillance, and logistics to foster effective communication and timely reporting, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Chair coordination meetings within the Construction White Space Area (CWSA), representing CWSA interests in external meetings affecting project interfaces.
  • Input coordination data and generate daily reports, aiming for streamlined and efficient meetings.
  • Conduct daily on-site coordination meetings with Logistics Non-Working Supervisors to review plans, address issues, and highlight previous successes. Manage spatial coordination, resource allocation, and planning based on project requirements, duration, and future impacts.
  • Collaborate on a 16-week look-ahead plan, actively contributing to project milestones and goals. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within the 8-week look-ahead plan to minimise downtime. Ensure adherence to the 4-week look-ahead plan to prioritise work and resolve conflicting activities, fostering project success.
