The Opportunity

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting projects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. The SZC Project is a ~£20bn nuclear new build project in Suffolk which is currently seeking planning approval and financing from HMG and investors, with a view to start construction in 2023. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years supporting our objective to help Britain achieve Net Zero by 2050.

 

As an Induction Co-ordinator, you’ll take responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Principal Contractors Function and specifically the Site Induction process in pursuance of the CDM 2015 Regulations for the Sizewell C development site. The role will also require you to undertake administration to support the team including some document control function.

 

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, therefore you don’t have to live in London or Suffolk. If you’re able to travel to the London office or Suffolk to collaborate with your team and stakeholders when required, you can be based anywhere in the UK. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.

 

The Role


You’ll support the delivery of the Site Induction in terms of co-ordinating the planning, delivery and record keeping associated with the site induction process.


We’re looking for someone to assist the document control function for the Principal Contractor team, providing a full, effective and timely support of the document control function. 


The role will allow you to raise purchase requisitions and receipting them when received through the online system.
 

The Skills


You’ll bring your proven document management experience as well as knowledge of document control systems. 


We’d love for you to have experience in a similar role within a construction background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities that the project has to offer.


You’re likely to be familiar with and experienced in using web-based applications/software.


It would be great if you excellent IT skills covering Excel, Word, Outlook.
