About Sizewell C

Sizewell C represents a transformative leap towards sustainable energy production in the UK. Located in Suffolk, this nuclear power station is designed to generate enough low carbon electricity to supply over six million homes annually. By reducing carbon emissions by approximately nine million tonnes per year compared to traditional gas-fired plants, Sizewell C stands as a beacon of environmental responsibility and technological advancement.

As well as the power station itself, the project includes the delivery of a significant amount of associated development including roads, railway, and a 2,400-bed accommodation campus. The 9-to-12-year build programme has recently begun on site with substantial work in procurement and delivery.
