Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.

We are seeking a Transverse Technical Manager to support the Head of the Transverse Technical function within the Sizewell C Technical Directorate. This role requires a dynamic leader who thrives on solving cross-cutting organisational challenges with pragmatic, well-organised solutions.
The Role
Interface Management Across Diverse Teams: This role involves managing key interfaces across delivery programs, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring streamlined communication between internal and external stakeholders. This includes the Nuclear Service, Designers, and Civil work alliances.
Supporting Civil Work Program and site delivery teams: You’ll lead bespoke technical design requirements management supporting SZC work addressing the first of a kind non-nuclear safety-related design requirements for civil work programs and site delivery teams. You’ll oversee a diverse team of contractors delivering innovative solutions unique to these SZC needs.
Cross-Project Leadership: You’ll provide strategic oversight in implementing critical policies, including Export Controls (EC) and Intellectual Property (IP). This includes simplifying compliance strategies, digitizing processes, and ensuring Sizewell C adheres to regulatory and legal requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: You’ll represent Sizewell C in technical discussions with HMG, investors, and lenders. You’ll play a key role in ensuring technical queries are efficiently addressed while minimizing project-wide impact.

Desirable
• Previous experience in the nuclear industry.
• Experience in contract management arrangements would be advantageous.

* Sizewell C Limited will be moving offices from 90 Whitfield Street to 25 Copthall Avenue.
25 Copthall Avenue is a modern building just a short walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025.
This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue. However, depending on the date of the move there may be a period that you will be required to work temporarily from our existing office at 90 Whitfield Street.
