Senior Project Delivery Manager
Location: London or Bristol (hybrid working arrangements) with travel to the Sizewell C site in Suffolk.
Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time.
Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Delivery Manager who is passionate about improving delivery processes and driving efficiency on a transformational project. You’ll take the lead in refining and managing the processes that will ensure the seamless delivery of one of the UK’s most ambitious energy infrastructure projects.
The Role
As a Senior Project Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and improving how we deliver the Sizewell C project. Your focus will be on streamlining, embedding, and managing delivery processes to ensure success.
You’ll be at the heart of ensuring the seamless delivery of Sizewell C. Leading the Project Delivery Effectiveness Team within Delivery Integration, streamlining and embedding effective delivery processes to drive success. You’ll develop and own the Delivery Model, ensuring its adoption across teams while establishing a robust framework for Continuous Improvement to enhance project maturity.
Additionally, you will oversee the Assurance Plan for delivery, providing stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Acting as a key customer for Transverse systems, including IT solutions, you will build collaborative relationships across delivery teams, supply chain partners, and key stakeholders. You will also coordinate services within the Delivery Integration Function to maximize efficiency.
What You Bring
You’re a seasoned Project Professional with a proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex projects. Your experience spans:
Engineering & Project Lifecycle: From initial design through to commissioning.
Commercial Expertise: Managing high-value contracts, cost control, and resolving claims.
Risk & Quality Management: Driving operational excellence in complex, high-stakes environments.
Excellence in Leadership: Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to inspire and unite diverse teams.
Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in process development, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and driving continuous improvement.
What sets you apart is your ability to translate technical details into actionable strategies, engage stakeholders, and inspire your team to succeed.
Qualifications and Skills
• A proven track record of managing large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Previously working experience in high safety and quality required environment (such as Oil &Gas, MoD, etc)
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related field (professional qualifications like MIMechE, MICE, or APM PPQ are a bonus).

* Sizewell C Limited will be moving offices from 90 Whitfield Street to 25 Copthall Avenue.
25 Copthall Avenue is a modern building just a short walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025. This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue. However, depending on the date of the move there may be a period that you will be required to work temporarily from our existing office at 90 Whitfield Street.
