SZC PA / Project Support Officer

The Opportunity

 

Our exciting Sizewell C (SZC) project – a proposed new nuclear power station to be built on the Suffolk coast - would provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years which, along with renewables, will support Britain’s Net Zero aim by 2050.  

 

As PA/Project Support Officer you’ll be providing project and PA support to the senior Financing & Economic Regulation (F&ER) team and Nuclear Development (ND) Business Unit, whilst also working closely with the Exec PA to the F&ER Director. 

The Role

 

You’ll be providing support to the Virtual Data Room and working with the PA for the Managing Director ND on large meeting organisation, along with general administrative support to the Nuclear Development Business Unit. This is a demanding post requiring you to have excellent communication and organisational skills combined with a pro-active approach to the diverse workload. 

 

Specifically, you will be accountable for:


•    Working with the PAs for the ND MD and F&ER Director and Hinkley Point C Visitor Coordination Team with complex site visits and coordination
•    Organising meetings with Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and other government stakeholders
•    Providing Exec PA support and working as an integral part of a team contributing to team success, communications and a positive working environment
•    Managing documentation uploads and data entry to the Virtual Data Room, coordinating the capture of all documentation across ND and ensuring complete and accurate records are held if required
•    Supporting general administrative duties as they arise

The Skills

 

Nuclear Development is a fast-paced and evolving organisation. To be successful in this role you’ll need to demonstrate:


•    Extensive experience as a PA at an executive level along with team support
•    Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
•    Attention to detail and accuracy
•    Flexible approach with the ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
•    Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
•    Discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and personal information
•    General administrative/secretarial knowledge
•    Good level of typing standard, formatting of documents and use of PowerPoint
•    Use of Outlook or similar diary/email application; Microsoft Office
