Records Lead

Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.

Salary: £50,000k dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

The Opportunity

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Records Lead.

 

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.


The Role

 

The Records Lead will be responsible for managing all documentation and records related to civil engineering activities at Sizewell C. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and an in-depth understanding of civil construction processes to ensure that all records comply with regulatory standards and project requirements.

 

 

The Skills

 

  • Must be fully versed in modern documented information and records management, EDRMS systems operation and project controls techniques within multi-disciplined organisation.
  • Must have major project experience in the nuclear (civil or defence) industry or equivalent highly regulated industry (e.g. pharmaceutical, aerospace, oil and gas etc) in a QA/QC, Technical/Engineering or similar relevant position.
  • Must have experience relating directly to the execution of Quality Control on major projects and assurance experience with review and acceptance of quality records.
  • Strong organisational, leadership and management skills.
  • Confident and articulate communicator, able to prepare presentation material, and comfortable addressing individuals, small groups and very large audiences.
  • Act as a strong advocate for best practice, able to support and defend practical deployment and solutions, whilst remaining open to the ideas of others.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A team player who recognises how their position impacts and influences others.
  • An ability to identify records management requirements, develop systems and processes for the benefit of the project and future operations team, resolve any anomalies, employ best practice, initiate set up, communication links and access for relevant team members.
