Procurement Manager

We’re seeking two passionate and proactive Procurement Managers to join our team—one specialising in Facilities Management & Property Works, and the other focusing on HR & Corporate Services with line management responsibilities for a small team.

The opportunity

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, fresh thinking, and quick decision-making are key, this is your chance to shine.

You’ll manage your own portfolio of contracts, identify third-party services, and shape category strategies while fostering strong supplier relationships. Your expertise in contractual negotiations, commercial modelling, and governance adherence will make a real impact on business success.

These opportunities offer variety, challenge, and the opportunity to act as a subject matter expert.

Occasional travel to project briefs and meetings will keep your work dynamic and engaging.

Pay, benefits and culture

Alongside a competitive salary range from £58,000 depending on experience, you’ll also be enrolled into our market-leading pension scheme, alongside access to a range of flexible benefits to support our people across all aspects of their lives.

Your rewards package includes a choice of benefits, such as electric vehicle leasing, enhanced parental leave, health insurance, discounts and employee pricing.

Hybrid working means you can work from the London office and from home (if you wish) for some of the week and we’ll provide a suite of IT equipment to ensure that you can work remotely comfortably and effectively.

At EDF, everyone’s welcome. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse environment where everyone has a voice and where you feel confident being yourself. We’re committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We’d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.

We’re a disability confident employer and we’ll do all we can to help with your application, adjusting as you need.

We’ll value the difference you bring and offer opportunities for you to thrive and succeed.

What you’ll be doing

As a Procurement Manager, you will lead your own portfolio of suppliers and projects while managing a small team of specialists. You’ll develop and implement optimal supply chain strategies, collaborating with key stakeholders and ensuring contract terms mitigate risks and drive business value. Building strong supplier relationships, you’ll oversee market analysis, negotiate procurement strategies, and secure cost-effective agreements.

You’ll ensure suppliers align with EDF’s health, safety, and quality standards, delivering goods and services on time and to specification. Additionally, you’ll support contract negotiations, manage disputes, and continually improve procurement practices to achieve savings and operational efficiencies. Our Supply Chain Manager opportunities combine strategic leadership, relationship management, and hands-on problem-solving to make a tangible impact on business outcomes.

Who you are

You’re a dynamic and accomplished Supply Chain professional with a proven track record of developing and delivering winning strategies. Your key strengths include:

  • Expertise in procurement, contract management, and risk mitigation, with a strong grasp of commercial law and contractual terms.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, adept at managing high-value, complex contracts.
  • Success in planning and leading multifaceted projects while driving transformational change.
  • A natural leader, skilled in team management, development, and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SAP processes (or a readiness to learn) and an eye for maximising business value.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with sharp commercial acumen.

If you’re CIPS qualified or working toward it, that’s a bonus!

Are you ready to shape the future of supply chain excellence at EDF?
