A career that will deliver change. Together, we can help Britain achieve net zero.

Join our Procurement Graduate programme and you can make an immediate impact, powering the nation today, whilst helping to build a sustainable energy future for tomorrow.

"My undergraduate and postgraduate experiences on climate change attracted me to work in the energy sector and I think working in Supply Chain at EDF will allow me to create positive impacts on the environment” Christy Siu, Procurement Graduate

What is the Procurement Graduate Scheme?

We’re recruiting for graduates to join our Procurement Programme. Our aim is to drive positive social and environmental change throughout our supply chain to help Britain achieve Net Zero.

A wide range of suppliers provide works, goods and services to support the efficient running of our businesses in the UK. How do we maximise the value for EDF through the professional supply of third party goods and services? That’s the job of our Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams.

Over this 2 year programme, we offer a tailored training path that will help develop your skills, build your confidence, knowledge and experience.

Training, development and support for you:

We’re passionate about your development.  You’ll receive a range of learning interventions from stakeholder management, leadership skills through to training that’s more focused on supply chain technical skills. You’ll also be offered the opportunity to seek the industry recognised CIPS qualifications.

Previous Procurement graduates have helped source and procure over half a million pounds worth of goods for the Renewables business, as well as tendering, negotiating and placing a company-wide Meetings & Events contract.

You could also be involved in projects looking at how we eliminate the use of all non-essential single-use items, or projects supporting our Net Zero ambitions and how we align to COP 26.

Head to www.edfenergy.com/careers/graduates for more information about the scheme structure, our culture and Graduate life at EDF.

Where you’ll work:

To get the most from our training during the programme you could be based at number of our sites to experience our diverse business. Example locations include Croydon, Hove, Gloucester and Durham. We’ll be on hand with practical and financial support when you relocate. We offer a great work/life balance to support people’s personal lives whilst giving them the opportunity to network and learn.

What you’ll need to apply:

•    At least a 2:2 in either a business management, business studies, supply chain management, economics, procurement, finance or logistics degree.
•    Desire to learn and develop your skills.
•    Professional outlook and commercial awareness
•    Self-motivated and analytical, you’ll combine technical knowledge (specifically MS Office) with great all-round people skills

We use a strengths-based selection process so that you can show us what you enjoy, as well as what you’re good at, because we believe that our individual strengths are at the heart of engagement and motivation to succeed and perform whilst at work. You’ll find tips and advice about the application process and assessment centre dates on our Graduate web pages.
