Location: London or Bristol (hybrid working arrangements)
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time.
Employment Basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

The Opportunity
An opportunity to join the Sizewell C Project as an NSA Technical Lead. In this role you will help to drive the delivery innovative engineering solutions through the Nuclear Services Agreement (NSA).
You’ll collaborate with the RD Contractor to tailor engineering designs for the Sizewell C project, ensuring they align with project objectives, have a clearly defined scope and meet quality standards and timelines.
The Role
The NSA Technical Lead role oversees the technical delivery of the NSA engineering contract, ensuring successful implementation, and providing expert guidance across all project teams.
This role involves managing technical documentation, advising stakeholders, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure best practices and seamless integration throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead technical aspects of the NSA engineering contract: You’ll oversee the implementation of the NSA contract within the Engineering Integration team. Acting as the primary point of contact for all technical issues related to the contract.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for NSA contract content: You’ll provide expert guidance on the technical aspects of the NSA contract, advising project stakeholders and ensuring that decisions are aligned with both the contract's requirements and the overall project goals.
• Own and manage technical documentation: You’ll manage and refine all critical technical documentation—specifications, processes, and engineering sequences—ensuring clarity and consistency across the board. You'll be the key to ensuring all teams follow these standards to the letter.
• Steering Project Work Requests (PWRs): You’ll evaluate requests for changes or variations, weighing their impact and ensuring decisions support the project’s big picture. Balancing technical needs with project goals, you’ll keep everything running smoothly on time and on budget.
• Monitoring NSA Contractor’s delivery and drive excellence: You’ll track the NSA Contractor’s performance, ensuring they meet key deliverables with precision. By collaborating with teams at Hinkley Point C, you’ll ensure that best practices are followed and consistently applied across all related projects.
About You
To thrive in your application for the NSA Technical Lead position, we are looking for candidates with the following skills:
• Background in mechanical, electrical, process, systems or civil engineering for large industrial projects.
• Hands-on expertise in project management within a regulated environment (professional qualifications like PMP or Prince2 are a bonus).
• Demonstrated experience in contract management, technical co-ordination, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
• A solid understanding of the complexities of major projects, particularly in interface management across different scope areas.
Desirable
• Nuclear sector experience is an advantage.
• An understanding of engineering principles within EPR projects or EPR project design would be appreciated.

* Sizewell C Limited will be moving offices from 90 Whitfield Street to 25 Copthall Avenue.
25 Copthall Avenue is a modern building just a short walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025.
This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue. However, depending on the date of the move there may be a period that you will be required to work temporarily from our existing office at 90 Whitfield Street.
