Graduate - Electrify Britain

Electrify Britain is a bold, groundbreaking campaign organisation launched by EDF and Octopus Energy. We're here to turbocharge the electrification of the UK. Think electric vehicles, electrified homes, and a future where net zero emissions aren’t just a pipe dream—they’re reality.

We’re a small team with big energy (pun intended), and we’re looking for a passionate Electrification Graduate in London. Electrification is crucial to achieving net zero emissions. Currently, transport accounts for 23% of UK emissions, and domestic heating contributes 15%. By transitioning to electric vehicles and electrified homes, we can dramatically cut these emissions and reduce household energy costs. In this role, you’ll help us take a deeper look into this, support our CEO and you’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves and get involved in day to day operations of the Electrify Britain team.

What you’ll do

Let’s cut to the chase—this isn’t your average Grad role. You’ll be at the center of the action, supporting our CEO and helping Electrify Britain run. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

● Be the CEO’s right hand human. Manage diaries, organise meetings, and keep things running smoothly so they can focus on electrifying Britain.

● Become a centre of knowledge for the value of Electrify Britain

● Help run our social channels to keep the world updated on our mission.

● Event guru! Help plan and organise events, then join us to network and meet incredible people driving the energy revolution.

● Researching. You’ll dig into key topics and provide insights to help us stay ahead of the curve

● Just like in any start up, we’ll need you to get involved with the details; ad hoc admin stuff that requires all hands on deck!

What we’re looking for:

● A recent degree or masters

● An interest in sustainability, green energy and Net Zero power systems

● Outrageously good at organisation. You’re the person who color-codes their calendar for fun

● A passion for networking. Whether it’s writing a caption for the gram or chatting to humans at an event, you know how to connect with people.

● Someone who is flexible. When plans change, you roll with it

● You’re as passionate about making a difference as we are

What’s in it for you?

● Get up close and personal with some of the coolest people in energy and sustainability.

● Build your network at events, rubbing shoulders with leaders shaping the future of the UK.

● Hands on experience working directly with the CEO

● A front-row seat to the electrification revolution

If this is of interest then please apply and we will be in touch.
