Employment type: Permanent full-time
Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible approach where possible.
Salary: Dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Programme Manager to join our Enabling & Earthworks team.
Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.
The Role
You’ll enable and provide an oversight on the delivery of the Enabling & Earthworks as defined within the Civil Works Alliance (PAA) Agreement, within the remit and boundaries of the Agreement; Provide operational direction and oversight to delivery workstreams engaged in site planning and preparation.
As a Programme Manager you will be responsible for supporting a team of 12 colleagues who specialise in the enabling works design, planning, procurement and execution of the early Sizewell C civils scope. You will be responsible of undertaking the bulk excavation and subsequent backfill in preparation for the construction of the power plant structures. You will ensure planning and delivery is in accordance with all safety, quality, time and cost parameters to meet the needs of the Project. This role is responsible for the direction and leadership of all activities associated with the full life cycle delivery of a major contract or contracts assigned to them.

- Hold experience managing and working within a multi disciplinary team
- Have an understanding of working within a regulated environment ideally within civils
- Hold strong experience in bulk earthworks and significant improvement works
- Have strong stakeholder/ interface management
