Pay, benefits and culture
Your dedication will be rewarded with a competitive salary range of £34,952 - £38,000 dependant on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive a 3% company bonus and a flexible cash fund of £1250 allowance per year. *A £3,500 London allowance will be applied if you live within the M25.
Performance incentive schemes of up to £5000 and overtime opportunities can boost earnings even further.

What you’ll be doing
As a Commercial Metering Technician, you'll excel in a diverse range of tasks:
- Professionally install and commission a variety of metering products from WC up to HVCT, ensuring a high level of professionalism and safety during building shutdowns and changeovers.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure project work is executed flawlessly and in line with relevant codes of practice and industry standards.
- Take ownership of safety, quality, compliance, and the commercial success of your daily activities.
- Provide field-based coaching and support to new team members, helping them develop their skills and grow within the company.
- Execute operational responsibilities and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
- Engage in nationwide travel, occasionally requiring overnight stays, with efforts to allocate work to the nearest installer when possible.
Who you are
You are a dedicated and skilled Metering Technician and a qualified electrician with certifications including C&G, NVQ L3, 18th Edition, and testing and inspection.
Competent at HVCT metering (desirable)
You take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and customer experiences.
You have strong technical knowledge of industry processes, electrical engineering, and EDF Energy's Health & Safety and regulatory requirements coupled with EDF Competency ADEGHMO.
Your technical prowess, combined with your effective communication skills, enables you to thrive in a dynamic field environment.
