Commercial Graduate

A career that will deliver change. Together, we can help Britain achieve net zero.

Join our Commercial Graduate programme and you can make an immediate impact, powering the nation today whilst helping to build a sustainable energy future for tomorrow.

"As Britain’s biggest generator of zero-carbon electricity, I wanted to join EDF and help their efforts to provide clean, affordable and secure energy to everyone. EDF and their partners are ideally placed to help Britain achieve Net Zero by 2050." Sandy Kelly, Commercial Graduate

What is the Commercial Graduate Scheme?

When you join EDF’s Commercial Graduate Training Scheme, you’ll be joining our Customers business unit, where we’re on a mission to help our customers save energy, reduce their bills and their carbon footprint.

By offering innovative solutions from Smart homes through to electric vehicles, we’re building a customer experience to help champion a low-carbon lifestyle and enable the UK to achieve net zero.

On this 2-year programme you’ll learn from our experts, gain valuable experience, build your confidence and develop your commercial focus; helping you to decide where you’d like to specialise in the future.

Our previous Commercial graduates have gone on to become our Marketing and Insight Manager, Senior Manager of Business Development and Residential & SME Sales Director.

Training, development and support for you:

We’re passionate about your development and offer a tailored training path that will help develop your skills, knowledge and behaviours, both during the scheme and in your future career.

Previous Commercial graduates have been involved in projects supporting our Portfolio Hedging Team, where they were able to get involved analysing the drivers of market changes, reporting on profit and loss and understanding how and why trading decisions are made. Or you could be supporting the operation and development of our digital marketing channels, being responsible for presenting results on your channel and identifying upcoming risks/opportunities to senior stakeholders.

Head to www.edfenergy.com/careers/graduates for more information about the scheme structure, our culture and Graduate life at EDF.

Where you’ll work:

To get the most from our training during the programme you’ll be moving around our sites to experience our diverse business. We’ll be on hand with practical and financial support when you relocate. We offer a great work/life balance to support people’s personal lives whilst giving them the opportunity to network and learn.
