Assistant Project Manager (Sizewell C)

Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time.


Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.


Salary: £45,000 –£55,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

The Role


We are seeking a driven and dynamic Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Managers in delivering key systems, structures, and components for one of the most complex nuclear power projects in the world. You’ll gain hands-on experience managing contracts, contributing to cutting-edge developments, and ensuring critical project milestones are achieved.


Responsibilities:


Assist in the delivery of high-impact programmes and systems essential to the successful construction of Sizewell C.


Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering and project management challenges.


Play a pivotal role in managing contracts, keeping projects on track, and ensuring seamless delivery.

 

What You’ll Bring:


Chinese language proficiency (essential).

 

Engineering experience in mechanical, chemical, or similar disciplines for large-scale industrial projects.

 

Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive project success.

 

Strong technical understanding to guide project delivery.

 

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other analytical software.


Desirable Skills:


Previous project management experience in the nuclear, oil & gas, or other safety-critical industries.


A formal project management qualification would be an advantage.
