The Opportunity…

 

Help drive the transition to net zero and transform data into actionable insights with EDF’s dynamic Commercial & Performance team. We're looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Data Scientist to develop automated ML models, optimize customer acquisition, and enhance our data foundations.

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Develop and implement automated machine learning models to optimize acquisition activities and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Utilize predictive analytics to enhance the sales funnel, reduce churn, and increase renewal rates.
  • Strengthen data foundations by integrating new data and improving dashboards with advanced customer value and propensity scores.
  • Collaborate with Solutions & Automation to manage and optimize the machine learning pipeline.
  • Conduct exploratory and big data analytics to generate actionable insights.
  • Partner with key business areas to ensure data requirements are clear and align deliverables with business needs.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies, promote innovative data uses, and build team knowledge in data science techniques.

  • Proficient in Python, data modelling, ETL tools, and advanced machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with advanced data analytics frameworks like AWS SageMaker, or a strong desire to master these tools.
  • Experience with visualisation tools like Tableau or a strong desire to master this tool
  • Translate high-level intents into actionable requirements, leveraging strong business knowledge for meaningful insights.
