Join our Creative Content Industrial Placement programme and you can make an immediate impact, powering the nation today, whilst helping to build a sustainable energy future for tomorrow.

“This fantastic placement has given me great experience with creative content that I wouldn’t have been able to get on my degree. I’m learning how to edit professional videos for internal and external use alongside creating graphics for social media. I’ve also worked on web design, search engine optimisation and developed the key skills required for a digital marketer.”

What is the Creative Content Industrial Placement Programme?

We're looking for a student with a passion for digital and content creation to join our Digital & Content team on a one-year placement. You will be involved in creating impactful content across our various channels such as web, social media, the company intranet and our internal magazine.

Training, development and support for you:

Over the 12-month programme we’ll offer you an opportunity to get hands-on with the end-to-end production of our corporate communications, working with a variety of digital hardware and software. You’ll be creating and publishing highly effective content across a range of digital channels to support the company’s ambition to help Britain achieve Net Zero.

Throughout the course of the placement, you will:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment for an in-house creative team working on video production, graphic design, web and social media
  • Develop your stakeholder management skills by working with various business units and senior leaders

The skills and experience gained on this industrial placement will be a terrific addition to any job application and will place you in a very marketable position within the future jobs market including at EDF should any opportunities arise.

Recent students have been involved in video production with our Chief Executive, creating digital content to support our activities at the COP27 summit as well as launching and measuring campaigns on our social media channels.
