Executive Support Officer

We’re looking for a new team member to provide efficient, flexible and professional support to the Generation business. This requires the provision of succinct, concise and high-quality reports based on the quick and accurate assimilation of significant quantities of data and information. 

Within the business governance team, we’re responsible for the provision of a bespoke technical secretariat service and the production of key reports for internal and external stakeholders. We also manage and deliver an effective and efficient governance framework. You’ll be facilitating executive level discussions, supporting the planning, execution and monitoring of plant, operational and business performance.

Pay, benefits and culture

We can offer a competitive salary from £36,175 - £65,536 with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. The starting salary will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.

What you'll be doing

The essence of your role will be to provide technical secretariat across the business. As an experienced administration professional, you’ll know how to interact and support your team and executive leaders to prepare for high level business updates and coordinate, review and administer Company Board papers. This will also tie into your regular facilitation of meeting and agenda preparation, as well as following up on meeting actions.

You’ll be working flexibly, responding to emergent work requests and liaising with key stakeholders with clear and concise communication, challenging appropriately where necessary. You’ll also conduct self-assessments and evaluations of core processes to support the development of the Business Governance function. You’ll need an eye for detail alongside your human performance error prevention tools, using these daily in your own work as well as encouraging your colleagues to do the same.
