The opportunity
As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing oversight, guidance and data insights, primarily to the Nuclear Operation Technical Directorate. You will deliver data and analysis to stakeholders across the business to drive performance and decision-making. It’s an exciting time to join as the business and you will be instrumental to its success.
You will work collaboratively with other teams and internal customers to agree, prepare and optimise dashboards and management information. You will use this information to provide forward-looking insights to create value and drive effective decision-making.
You will have experience in ‘visualising’ data and turning this into valued insights. You will push the boundaries of our Business Intelligence tools and share this knowledge with the team and other key stakeholders to enhance learning and to identify improvements.
The role will be based at either our Gloucester or Glasgow office, and you will be working in the office 2 -3 days a week.

What you’ll be doing
Within this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Provision of information management, analysis, intelligence and guidance to the business
- Act as the data champion for the function, ensuring continuous improvement and development is applied.
- Provide ‘intelligent’ support, insights and intrusive oversight to appropriate Heads of Functions in the context of performance accountability processes.
- Monitor, provide analysis and reporting on TD’s key deliverable milestones (KDMs).
- Provide analysis and reporting on TD’s organisational learning (OL) metrics.
- Work collaboratively with other Groups, Departments and Functions across the business to ensure key information is shared and understood.
- Identify and lead business improvement projects, as and when required by the business. Liaising cross-functionally to ensure effective implementation of changes.
Who you are
You hold a degree or equivalent qualification and are highly IT literate, with a solid understanding of the full suite of MS Office applications and experience working with databases. You possess strong numeracy and analytical skills, complemented by a good commercial and financial awareness, ideally with familiarity in financial systems.
With excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, you are adept at building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You can influence others without direct authority and thrive in collaborative environments. Experience in project management or project controls is a plus, along with leadership or team management experience, making you well-equipped to guide teams and drive results.
