About us and the role

We are looking for a Strategic Planner to join our nuclear energy business. You will join the Technical Client Organisation (TCO) business unit, which exists to tackle challenges that are varied and ever-changing, in the pursuit of Net Zero. Our business is helping design and build new power stations, to supporting EDF’s existing fleet operations, through to defueling. The TCO is a critical component to Great British Nuclear success within the current UK nuclear industry, with an eye on future reactor technologies, and will evolve and expand its scope to remain a nuclear centre for excellence.

The position interfaces with all TCO leaders, both in the Technical Support Organisation (technical service provider), as well as the Technical Client Organisation (Licensee) interfaces.

Business Planning is a fundamental activity for TSO, as it underpins our agreed commercial funding position and deliverables to meet our Licensee demands; as well as providing the necessary data to enable key decision making for resourcing strategies for TCO, for capabilities both internal and with our external supply chain partners.

This is an exciting time to join the team, as the HPC Project progresses with construction & pre-operation and as work progresses on securing the Sizewell C Project to help Britain achieve #CarbonNetZero.
