Your role as a Senior Performance Analyst, reporting directly to the Performance Manager, will be to provide high quality analysis and management information support across the scope of smart metering and EV activities as part of the Performance team, working closely with colleagues across the wider Smart Metering and EV Install (SM&EVI) team.

What you’ll be doing…
 

Working alongside the wider Performance team, you will provide complete, accurate and on-time reporting for internal and external stakeholders as well as for regulatory submissions. You will engage effectively with other teams across SM&EVI and the wider Customers business in order to deliver these requirements.
 

On a daily, weekly and monthly basis you will provide robust, real-time analysis of performance data against latest plans, using appropriate technology and analysis to flag diversions and provide stakeholders with insight on performance, allowing tactical decisions to be taken to optimise and improve performance.  
 

You will support the Performance Manager in providing content and insight for core governance forums including Smart Metering Project Board meetings, Customer Operations and SM&EVI Performance Meetings and deputise for the Performance Manager when required as data and analytics subject matter expert for projects and initiatives.
 

Who you are…
 

We’re looking for someone who has experience in data architecture and analysis and related tools, and proficiency in Tableau, SQL and Excel is essential, alongside knowledge of other tools including Visual Basic and Access.
 

You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to develop internal stakeholder relationships, working collaboratively across the wider team. 

 

You will need to be able to prioritise conflicting priorities and work under pressure to deliver tasks on time, and to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
 

You’ll be self-motivated, with problem solving skills, and have the ability to identify issues, propose solutions and think beyond your day-to-day remit.
