The Opportunity

As a Reward Consultant you will provide high quality, professional, specialist advice and guidance on a wide range of reward and benefits matters to HR and managers across EDF Energy.

What you’ll be doing

The Reward Consultant will conduct detailed internal and external pay market analysis, identify external trends to present pragmatic and creative recommendations and develop innovative reward solutions to influence and steer business and HR decision-making.

You'll analyse and apply best practices in benefits, incentive schemes, job evaluation, and benchmarking to develop innovative reward strategies while balancing governance and commercial goals.

You will ensure that complex data is presented accurately and of high quality, tailored for the required audience to provide a comprehensive basis for decision-making on risks, costs and policy options for proposals and recommendations ensuring reward and benefits threats, opportunities and issues are understood fully and included in the delivery of the outcome.

As a Reward Consultant, you will provide advice to management and the HR Team to ensure internal reward governance and controls are understood, embedded, and adhered to.

Who you are

As a Reward Consultant at EDF, you'll demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, specialising in benefits and pay. With strong communication abilities and a customer focused approach, you'll simplify complex information and present it with clarity and impact.

You’ll have the proven ability to apply critical thinking techniques with a logical and pragmatic approach to resolving complex issues and excellent organisational and collaboration skills to lead the delivery of Reward activities and programmes.

We’re looking for someone with in depth technical reward experience including base pay, variable pay, governance, job evaluation methodologies and performance management. You’ll have experience of working in a complex, multi-disciplinary, matrix and cross-cultural environment.

If this sounds like you then we’d love to hear from you!

Pay, benefits and culture

Alongside a starting salary of £52,000 (dependent on experience) and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include a range of benefits, from the big and formal to the small and personal.

We’re talking about everything from enhanced parental leave to electric vehicle leasing, health insurance to product discounts, critical illness insurance to technology vouchers, gym membership to season ticket loans.
