The Opportunity


Do you have Project Management experience of small to medium projects/workstreams?

As a Project and Business Readiness Lead, you will lead small to medium sized projects or workstreams for Employee Services. You will also be in regular contact with EIT HR Systems product owners and TCS our IT partners developing our HR systems.

You will be responsible for managing and driving the projects from start to finish, from creating the plans, engaging with the required stakeholders and managing all risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies to make the projects successful. You will be responsible for managing the communication and transition for all changes lead by the ES Performance Team.

A big part of the role will be understanding the impacts of any changes and you will work with stakeholders to ensure there is a change readiness plan to transition and embed the changes we are making to provide a great user experience. 

You will play a key role in supporting the HR systems team with myHR upgrades – working with leads within Employee Services to ensure that testing is completed against required timeframes and that communications to the business on the changes are made. 

You may also identify improvements that make our processes and systems better for our employees.

The Role and Skills


Being a Project and Business Readiness Lead at EDF means you will be enthusiastic and flexible about helping Employee Services improve our service offering for employees. 

You’ll be an expert at cross team collaboration and easily balance multiple competing priorities across a widespread of activities. You’ll also be commercially focused, results driven and good at relationship building. Managing change and communication is essential for the team’s success.

We’re looking for someone who has an innovative and open-minded approach. This will be needed to ensure that the business purpose and employee experience remain at the centre of the Employee Services delivery plan. 

You will have demonstratable experience in planning, options analysis, project management and business change readiness.
